Arriving at the home, Atlas darted inside and pulled Aviva inside with him, startling Vane, who sat at the table and had his jeweler's supplies laid out in front of him. The older male twisted around then stood quickly, frowning as he took in his bother's pale face then the flowers in his hand. "Atlas, what's happened."
The younger took a breath, stepping away from the door. "Bounty hunters are in town."
"They shouldn't be after you any longer," Vane said slowly, looking at the flowers. "Or have they a reason to now?"
"What? Oh, no, no," Atlas said after his eyes went to the flowers with a shake of his head. "These were from the forest. But it's not just any one, it's that guy, the big one."
Vane sighed and sat back down. "He'll be gone come morning."
"How can you be so sure?"
"I've heard rumors, but he won't be here long."

Aviva felt her body move forward with the pull on her arm. Once she was inside she watched them with wide eyes, unsure if she should be worried.

Vane didn't miss a beat. "Just someone we've had issues with in the past. More so Atlas than me, but we're still wary of him. He won't miss a chance to make some coin." His gaze slid over to them, remembering what Bri told him earlier. "I wouldn't recommend going back out until he's gone so there won't be trouble."

Aviva looked over at him. "But Brianna told me to get some things." protesting she looked at Atlas hopefully. She wanted to go back out and explore more things.

He looked at her, gaze and tone stern but not unkind. "Stay here. The errands can wait for a little while. If I have to, I'll go out myself to get them. Atlas has awful luck when it comes to keeping attention away from himself, and since we're staying, we've also got to look out for you too. Be patient." Vane's eyes traveled to the flowers. "What are those for?"
"these?" Atlas looked at them, disappointed for not finding any ash. "Well..." He looked to Aviva.

Aviva crossed her arms. "I want to go too. " running errands was the only time that she could actually get out of the house. "The same goes for you. Besides I can take care of myself."

Aviva frowned looking at him before she adverted her gaze. He sounded just like her cousin. She didn't need another babysitter.
"What were the two of you going to make?"
Rolling her eyes she placed her gaze back on him. "I hadn't decided yet." After a second her gaze widened and then narrowed as she stepped forward. "Speaking of my cousin-where is she?"
Brianna walked out after a moment, not even missing a beat. "In my room. I was looking through my things because I wanted to show Vane here something. " Walking up she stood by him. She wasn't lying entirely. It was her plan to show him, she just hadn't gotten around to it is all. Taking a look around her gaze shot to him. "When?" she didn't know what was wrong exactly but she could tell that he was worried about something by his expression. It had been seen in the mirror a thousand times when she thought someone was after her.

Atlas looked between her and Vane, slightly puzzled. Vane turned his head and looked at her from the corner of his eyes, looking forward again when she asked, "When?"
"We shouldn't have any issue as long as no one causes a scene or seems too out of place," Vane answered. "Just a band of bounty hunters we've scuffled with in the past, and the main dude never forgets a face."

Brianna let out a sigh of relief. Someone was after them, just not who she had feared. "Right well since we're going to be here awhile, I am going to pick up some more groceries. "
"Can I-"she asked knowing the answer but still. She didn't want her to go alone.
"No Aviva. You will stay here." her eyes softened slightly. "I know you want to go but you're safer here. Besides it would be rude to leave our guests here by themselves." Seeing how she closed her mouth, she turned to look at the boys. "Any particular food you two like? "

"Oh, so you could go back out, but not us," Atlas grumbled, though he knew very well why.

Her gaze landed on him. "Yes-I can. They haven't seen me before, and even if they had there should be no reason to connect you to me. Besides I would feel better if you three we're together. "Exhaling she walks to the door before turning back around. "Be back soon. Aviva you know the drill. Oh and Vane is in charge." Opening the door she stepped out before walking down the street.

"Be safe," Vane murmured as she walked out, returning to his work.
Atlas stood in silence a moment before moving over and sitting down, taking out the piece of paper for the shop and sliding it to him. "The booth sold. But, we found a small shop for really cheap."
His brother paused and looked at him, then took the paper and looked over it, smiling a little. "This is great news. We're slowly working towards becoming big."

Aviva watched them as Atlas showed Vane. Minutes later she moved to the front door locking it before sitting down. Not only was she a little upset that she once again had to sit in the house, but now she was worried for her cousin.
Brianna walked down the street, stopping by a fee vendors on the way. She made sure to take the same amount of time examining the wares as she normally did.

Atlas smiled a little at his brother. "Don't just thank me," he said as he laid the flowers down. "Thank Aviva, too. She helped look for it."
Vane looked at her, grateful. "You're proving to be of more use than I thought," he laughed lightly. "I'm glad you went with him."
