"He was born more Stonesworn than I was in a sense," he started. "Mom was born blind, which is common among the Stonesworn, the people who lived in Iysegarth and mined. We were born outside of Iyesgarth, and unfortunately he was born with episodes of temporary blindness or his sight growing poor. They stopped after a while, but shortly after Mom died, they started back full force." He looked at her, then Aviva. "We don't know what causes it or why it happens, just that it does."

Bri shared a look with her cousin, although hers came out more stern-while Aviva's was pleading. They seemed to be having a argument with their eyes and stances, and Bri was losing the battle. After a few moments she stepped forward. "No Aviva. The chances on finding anything are slim."
"But it doesn't mean we won't! Come on Brianna, we have to try.

Vane and Atlas looked at them, Atlas rubbing his eyes again. "It's still blurry," he murmured to Vane.
His brother's hand grabbed his wrist. "Well, stop rubbing it for one," Vane chided quietly. "Let it clear on its own."

Atlas started at the hands being waved in front of his face, blinking a couple of times as he leaned back, his brother standing. "W-What?"
Vane stepped away from the couch, watching his brother closely a moment, though once he saw that Atlas was able to see a little more, he let out a sigh of relief.

Aviva giggled, only stopping the floppy movements of her hand when two eyes looked up. "Awesome. Didn't think that would work. "She grinned at him. "Welcome back to the land of the seeing."her voice was light, but the words were meant sincerely
Bri groaned from where she was standing for multiple reasons. Mainly her cousin's behavior. But now she had a migraine.

Atlas still looked confused, but he offered a small sheepish grin. "Well, things are still somewhat blurry," he started. "But I can see a little bit of the outlines of shapes."
Vane watched them, eyes sliding towards Bri, but he didn't say a word. not yet.

Brianna exhaled looking through her fingers. Feeling his eyes on her-again, she adverted hers with a frown.

Starting, he leaned back a little, her image clearing and he blushed, glancing away. "Y-yeah," he murmured, eyes moving to Vane, though he realized Vane was in his own world as he looked down. Atlas studied him a moment longer.
