"I don't think anyone is nearby, but if they're somewhere above ground, I could have missed them. We'll have to keep our eyes peeled on the roofs."

"I doubt it. As far as I know they can't track well. You worry about what's in front of us, and ill keep a lookout for the surrounding areas. Now, shall we go?"

He nods and starts forward, stopping at a large slab of stone. He grabs a hold of it and moves it to the side, finding it a little easier this time than when he moved the boulder, and steps aside to let her through.

Bri steps through dipping her head in thanks lightly before adverting her gaze forward. She walked forward until they reached the exit.

As she steps out, Vane follows behind, sliding the stone back into place. He then follows into step near Bri, gaze traveling around as he checks for danger again, alert.

"Alright. " her eyes glanced to the right, stepping closer as she spotted a shadow. She relaxed once she realized it was only a squirrel. Exhaling she put a hand on her face, shaking her head.

Turning to him, her eyes widen before she laughs nervously. "I know. " she looked down. She didn't feel any fear when she was with him, at least not like she usually did on a daily basis. "Just habit after so many years. Not everyday you see someone jumping at the sight of a animal. "

Brianna exhaled as they reached the street, tensing again ever so slightly. "If its who I think, he'll be lying in wait to attack again. Which means he's near the house. " she glanced at him, a worried look in her eyes. She didn't think he would pull anything against the others- as long as the two were alone. But once they met up with them... she would figure out to do when that happened.

She exhaled before untwining her hand from his arm, stepping up on the bottom step leading to her apartment. Shoulders tensing she tilted her head ever so slightly to listen for anything abnormal. Her hand reached forward and she opened the door slightly.

Vane stands with his back to her, watching the streets and the roof tops as she opens the door. From inside, where Atlas sat upside down, the young man hears the door and quickly rolls onto his stomach and off the couch, standing and darting to the corner and looks to the door, hesitant, though upon seeing Bri and Vane behind her, his face brightens. "You guys are okay."
Vane drops the pebble as he hears Atlas, and it lands with a small clack against the step as he looks at his brother, and the younger frowns a little, noticing it.
