"See, Vane? You've worried her. " "I would like to speak to my brother a moment."
"Of course." Aviva tilted her head down slightly- almost as a bow. "Ill see you later. " She smiled reassuringly at Atlas before walking up the street. Once her back was to them, she frowned deeply as she walked. She had planned on going home anyways. She needed to learn a few things it seemed. It caught her off guard when they said she could start working immediately. No-she needed some more time. Exhaling she broke off into a run, a bit faster than the normal human speed. She wove through the streets and around people, trying to get home quickly.

Once she had gone, Vane hissed, "what was that?"
"An attempt to get help, that's what," Atlas replied, looking at him. "Got a problem with it?"
"More like a means of using someone," Vane retorted. "She was hired because we need help with inlays. She wasn't hired to become the person to pay for a booth!"
"She volunteered, Vane! It's not like she can't say no. Hope off this high horse and accept some help. Heaven knows we need it-- we're barely able to pay the inn keeper and buy food!"

Aviva reached her home and burst through the door, startling her cousin Brianna who was cooking lunch. "Aviva! There's a handle for a reason. Use it instead of trying to break the door down." she chided with a sigh. Her eyes flicked to her, watching as she run through the living room and up the stairs. "Hey where are you going?"
"No time Bri, gotta browse how to inlay jewels!" Says before disappearing to her room, leaving a baffled cousin in her wake.
"Inlay jewels? What on earth?" she shakes her head before turning back to the meal. She had learned long ago not to question her random bouts. It gave her a headache.

Vane glared at his brother before sighing, pinching the bridge of his nose with an exasperated sigh. "Fine. Only to get us started, but once we're one our feet, we aren't letting her pay for it anymore."
"I'll pick up the pay, I promise," Atlas vowed, a small smile. "Besides, I can't lie to you no matter what I do. You have my word."
"Don't push it," he grumbled, resituating his pack. "Let's get going, then, and maybe try to sell some of these on the way."
"Right," Atlas replied and the two started on their way, calling out their wares again, trying to sell at least a couple.

Aviva shut the door to her room and her hand flew left, instinctively turning on her computer. As it booted up, she grabbed a chair and sat in it. Her feet swiveled the chair around to rest by her desk before she placed her hands on the keyboard and got to work investigating what she had promised to do.

The two worked their way through town, searching for Aviva at the same time. "We should've asked where she lived," Atlas murmured.
"Who's fault is that?" Vane drawled, looking at him from the corner of his eye.

Remembering that she forgot something, she turned and headed to the bedroom."Aviva I have to run to the market, want anything?" Hearing only silence she turned and exited the house, stepping out into the street."
Aviva hummed as she searched, completely lost in what she was doing. She didn't hear the knock on the door or the words that we're spoken to her.

"We're never going to find her," Atlas groaned. "All we have is her name, Aviva." He looked at his brother. "Where do you think she's from? I've never met the likes of her before. And odd vocabulary."
"Look around, Atlas. The world is changing." Vane gestured to a mechanic cart attached to a horse as if drove by. "The world is so big, I'm sure half of the stuff we see here the rest of the world hasn't even dreamed of."

Brianna walked down the street, head high as she stepped around those she passed. She kept on going, weaving between people, much like her cousin had done. She still however as she passed a pair of boys and over heard them talking.

She tensed turning towards them, moving silently behind them, task at hand overtaking the one she set out on. A hand raised to smack their heads before she stilled as the other spoke. Eyes searching their persons, she instead placed hands on one shoulder of each. She steered them into an alleyway. "How do you know that name?"

"How do you know that name?"
Vane jumped as Atlas gave a soft yelp, his brother staring at the woman, taken aback. "We just met someone with the name."
"A-A friend," Atlas replied. "She was interested in our stones, and was curious about helping us inlay them into jewelry."
"Atlas," Vane hissed before sighing. "We were discussing work terms when she left."

Her gaze shifted from one to the other, mistrusting as they took turns speaking. Her head snapped to the one who yelped." I don't know what game you're playing. She doesn't have friends." she sighed after a moment, lowering them. "So that's what she meant." she turned then murmured to herself. Her gaze landed back on them harshly. "Well it can't be helped. I'm kidnapping you two."

"We just met her today," Atlas protested. "Why are you kidnapping us?!"
"What's the meaning of this, miss?" Vane ventured to ask, gaze turning guarded and wary.

Brianna reached up and pulled them by their ears like two kids. "Simple because I can. Now stop arguing!" she tossed them forward before glaring. "Walk." she held her hands up and made a shooing motion. Honestly this was too much trouble. And not what she had signed up for.

"Simple because I can. Now stop arguing! Walk."
Atlas opened his mouth to protest, but his brother elbowed him in the ribs, taking on a more colder and withdrawn demeanor. "Shut up, and listen for once, will you?" Vane looked over his shoulder at the woman, pale eyes studying, before he started walking, staying between her and Atlas, who looked uncomfortable and uneasy.

Brianna followed them. After a millisecond, she walked forward to match Vane's pace. Throwing a arm around him, pulled a knife out from under her shirt and pressed it against Vane's side gently, with a distant gaze. "Act natural. You boys could draw the wrong attention. "She had never wanted to carry such a thing, but well as the boy said-the world is changing. She led them back to her apartment and she looked at the boy in front. "Open the door." she said with narrowed eyes before tossing him the keys.
