"I'm following you. I really don't know my way around yet. There's a forest nearby right? Lets go there afterwards!"
Atlas laughed, leading her towards the markets. "Sure, we can do that. What time should we make it back here?"

"Aviva... There trying to set us up. Or at least she is. I don't know your brother so I can't tell if it was a joint effort or not. "
"What?" Vane twisted around and looked at her, brows furrowed, and he gave a shake of his head with a small laugh. "I don't understand why. Though knowing Atlas, it was probably a joint effort." He looked away, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sure, we can do that. What time should we make it back here?"
Aviva's eyes glittered as she skipped after him. Giving it a moment of thought, she tilted her head. "Well normally its seven, but I think she'll be fine if its later. "

"What? I don't understand why. Though knowing Atlas, it was probably a joint effort."
"Who knows? Maybe its them trying to tell us we need to get out more. " Silently she starts cleaning up the dishes and carries them to the sink on light feet. As she passed him, she noticed his behavior and exhaled. "Well what's done is done. How was your sandwich?" murmurs quietly as she washes what few plates there were.

"Well normally its seven, but I think she'll be fine if its later. "
Atlas nodded, moving looking around as he got his bearings. "We'll try to be back before dark." He spotted the empty booth and totted over, looking at the sign, excited. However, a moment later, his shoulders slumped. "Well, shit."

Vane watched her before he stood, taking his plate over to her and began to help her clean. "It was good, thank you." He worked in silence a moment. "How long have you and Aviva been in Dorburn?"

"We'll try to be back before dark."
Aviva followed him. "Yes sir." She watched as his posture fell and she peeked around his shoulder. "Whats wrong?" She felt happier when he had an excited look on his face. Seeing him like that merely dampened her spirit.

"It was good, thank you."
Brianna caught a shadow in her vision and she turned quickly in a jump before she settled. Instead she handed the plates to him. "You're welcome. Although I know theyre not as spectacular as she makes them out to be.
"How long have you and Aviva been in Dorburn?"
Brianna paused thinking it over. "We still aren't unpacked completely. Its been a few days. " Truthfully it was yesterday morning but she wasn't about to take a chance and let that slip. Especially since he claimed to be Avivas friend.

"Yes sir. Whats wrong?"
Atlas stared at the sold sign on the post. "It's been sold." He turned and ran a hand through his hair. "Man, Vane isn't going to be too thrilled."

Vane started at her jumped, offering a small apologetic smile. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you."

"It still hit the spot," he replied.

"How has the area treated you?" he asked, putting the plates away.

"It's been sold." Eyes drifted to it and she felt bad. They were both looking forward to the booth.
"Oh..."
"Man, Vane isn't going to be too thrilled."
"Well maybe there's another one nearby that you can still purchase." she smiled at him.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you."
"No its...alright. I just wasn't expecting the help. I try not to bother guests with it" admits slowly. Although that would require her to actually have people over.
"It still hit the spot,"
Brianna's eyes softened a moment. "Did it. Well that's good." she was a little pleased that he liked it. At least she hadn't lost her touch over the years. Aviva would eat anything, so its hard to get a good opinion out of her.
"How has the area treated you?"
She turned before drying her hands. "Well enough I suppose, I haven't really been out. All my time has been spent to get everything ready for a fresh start."

Atlas looked at her, smiling a little. "I like the positive vibes you give. Let's see if we can't find another then." He started off down the strip, eyes searching.

Vane nodded, finishing. "That's good. As long as the beginning has been good."

"I like the positive vibes you give. Let's see if we can't find another then."
Aviva stared a moment before she beamed. Her mood was lifted with the smile that she had previously received. She began following after him, a skip to her step. Catching up to him she looked at each booth they passed. "Booth for sale. Booth for sale." chanted to herself.

"We were raised to help, no matter where we were."
A piercing yet studying gaze landed on him. "You're parents are gone?" asks softly.
"That's good. As long as the beginning has been good."
"That's one way of thinking of it. I wouldn't say good. But it hasn't been bad, just hard I guess."

"Booth for sale. Booth for sale."
Atlas laughed at her, walking until he came across a small shop, spotting the for sale sign. His jaw dropped. "Sale." He trotted over to the posting, looking at it, beaming when the price was equal to the booth, but was well worth the money. "Av, we found it!" He looked at her, "A small shop instead of a booth. Can you imagine what we could do with this?"

"You're parents are gone?"
He gave a thin smile as he took a breath, looking down. "Our mother passed away nearly a year ago. Our father is fighting in the war, but I'm not even sure if he's still alive."
"That's one way of thinking of it. I wouldn't say good. But it hasn't been bad, just hard I guess."
"Things just have to be accepted as they come."

"Sale." "Av, we found it!" "A small shop instead of a booth. Can you imagine what we could do with this?"
Aviva's gaze brightened at the sight. A gleeful laugh left her lips as she started bouncing on her feet. "Its so big! Ooh ooh we could...um make double the wares?"

"I'm sorry. I know how hard it is to raise someone at a early age." she looked at him. "Maybe he isn't, but you would have been told if that wasn't the case right?"
"Things just have to be accepted as they come."
"Isn't that the sad truth?" she looked away. She knew all too well the meaning behind accepting the hard decisions.

"Yes! We could have all of our tools here, and sell straight from the shop instead of having to walk around!" Atlas exclaimed, taking the sign. "Now to find the owner." He read the paper, then looked up and around, finding the tavern nearby. "There."

"That's amazing! Great, lets go."
Atlas laughed and followed her in, trotting over to the inn owner and talked to him about the shop. He leaned against the bar, hands moving as he negotiated, getting the small store even cheaper using his way with words and charm. The inn keeper agreed, and shaking on it, Atlas looked at Aviva and smiled, handing the man the gold Atlas already had in his purse, it being just enough.
Once the deal was made, Atlas led Aviva out with the title for the shop in hand, jumping up once they were out of earshot. "Yes!! Vane is going to be stoked when he hears about this."

"I've considered it more than once," Vane admitted. "But traveling that far with a brother and little to our name is expensive, money we don't have. So we've stayed here in Dorburn."

Aviva sat in a nearby chair as Atlas talked to the owner. Seeing how comfortable he was with the owner, she smiled- content just watching him. She wondered if everyone could be that relaxed about certain things. Noticing him look over she gave a friendly wave to them. Upon witnessing the signal that everything went well, she rose before following Atlas out.
"Yes!! Vane is going to be stoked when he hears about this."
She laughed at him before bouncing. "I'm so happy for you. " A swell of energy overcome her and she hugged him in result of the feelings she was experiencing that moment.

Atlas beamed, starting and eyes widening as Aviva hugged him, and slowly heat rose to his ears and he sheepishly hugged her back. "Thanks to you and your positivity, we found it." He pulled back and smiled. "Now let's run those other errands and return back to your cousin and my brother."
