My kind starts shifting by the time they're a year old," "But, it's uncontrollable. It took me three years before I had some control, and until I was seven before I mastered it. But you on your first try got somewhere further than I did."
"Oh. " He replies quietly gaze now trained on his arm instead of the sky. After a few seconds the feathers fell off and landed on the snow. "Can we try again tomorrow?" asks nervously.

"Would you like someone to accompany you?
"And just who would accompany me? You?" he murmurs back to him, walking down the stairs

"And just who would accompany me? You?"
"Myself or Sherai, of the both of us." He pauses at the end of the steps. "I just don't trust this place, Frey. Something feels wrong about it, but I can't place my tongue on it."
"Can we try again tomorrow?"
"Of course we can. We can come back to this tree, if you want," Forest replies with a smile, looking like a piece of summer that didn't belong in the winter. And yet, being barefoot in snow doesn't seem to bother him. "I'm sure your sister won't mind."

"Of course we can. We can come back to this tree, if you want,"
Cenric gave a tiny smile in response. He trusted the man before him more now. He understood somewhat about the things he was going through. It wasn't hard to like him after this. "
"I'm sure your sister won't mind."
At the mention his eyes widen a moment, before he looks down- completely forgotten that fact. Sure he remembered the girl he had found, but the fact that he had family escaped him. " My sister?' he glanced up at him. "Will she be mad I stayed out this long?"

"If you feel one or both of you should come along, then you may. But hurry and decide, I want to get this done as soon as possible."

"If you feel one or both of you should come along, then you may. But hurry and decide, I want to get this done as soon as possible."
He nods, moving towards the door. "I will ask if Sherai wants to accompany us. We'll meet you outside." He trots out and looks at Ib, who still sits on the edge of the porch in silence. "Sherai?" Iniago starts.
The hood on her shoulders shift as she turns her head, hair tied up and eyes alert but guarded. However, she doesn't say anything.
"Frey needs to gather some supplies before he makes the trek home," the wolf continues, though uncertain. "Would you like to accompany us?"
Iberia only stares for a long moment, long enough to pull worry across Iniago's features before she silently stands, her cloak falling closed. She looks out over the village again, then gives an almost undetectable nod.
" My sister? Will she be mad I stayed out this long?"
"Not at all," Forest replies with a shake of his head. "She won't mind it at all, not with me here. You aren't alone, so she can rest easy."

"Oh.." he shook his head numbly before he glanced at him. "What should I do now?"

"Very well." Jakys murmurs, walking to his room to get his cloak, slipping it on with the hood pulled up before he walks outside, waiting

As Jakys steps out, Iberia pulls her hood up as Iniago shifts, though she doesn't say anything for a moment. "I have some things to get as well," she murmurs and starts walking down the path, Iniago trotting after her.
"Oh.. What should I do now?"
"If you want, you can try again," Forest gives a small shrug. "Or we can return home for now, and you could help me fix dinner for when Roala returns."

"If you want, you can try again," . "Or we can return home for now, and you could help me fix dinner for when Roala returns."
Cenric was about to answer with him wanting to try again, when a loud but low rumble filled the air. Stepping back he looked at the ground embarrassed. "I'm sorry." replies automatically.

"I have some things to get as well,"
Gaze wavering, Jakys stays back a moment, before he follows slowly "Forgive me, Sherai." he murmurs under his breath, sighing

"Forgive me, Sherai."
"There is nothing to forgive," she says quietly, though her stature is straighter than it normally would be. "You aren't in the wrong."
Iniago looks between the two of them quizzically.
"I'm sorry."
Forest's smile fades a little as he tilts his head, studying the boy's face. "Why sorry?" He feels the air vibrate slightly, but he doesn't know what from.

Cenrics face reddened a moment as he remembered. "Nothing. Ill help with supper."

"I clearly overstepped, it wasn't my place to do that." Jak murmurs quietly, eyes straight ahead as he responds, green eyes light

"I clearly overstepped, it wasn't my place to do that."
"You did nothing wrong," she repeats, and it wasn't entirely a lie. They were betrothed, technically. And because of that fact, she doesn't shoot him down. However, her lips do purse a little in thought, brows angled low more so out of concentration than aggravation.
"Nothing. Ill help with supper."
Forest tilts his head at the boy, studying, but nods a moment later and shifts, trotting up to his side and nudges his hand gently in reassurance. He isn't sure what made the boy so skittish, but he could at least let him know that he was there to help. With a flick of the ear, Forest begins to lead them back.
