Meeting his gaze, he tore his eyes away- instead looking at the sky. Concentrating on what he said, he jumped off into a dive. Change change. he repeated in his mind. As the ground came closer than expected he panicked a moment, eyes showing fear.

Following him and waiting till they're inside, Jak shuts the door once they're in, going to the window to look out of it, sighing softly "I'm going back to your tribe. And I..." jaw ticking, his eyes close "I need you to watch after Sherai while I'm gone. If you hear anything regarding the bandits, let the civilian know. He'll help protect her, from what I've seen. Can you do that, Iniago?"

Iniago frowns deeply, his brow creasing. "You truly can't be planning to return alone, Frey. We came to bring Sherai home. Even with Vras at the helm, he won't be able to keep the tribe afloat. They need their Sheran and Sherai." Even though he respects the blacksmith, he isn't too fond of him. And he isn't too fond of being so close to civils as his wolf instincts stands on edge. "It's not safe here for her."
Forest watches him a moment, seeing the concentration on his face, though a moment later his face fell as his eyes widens. he quickly steps forward with his arms out to catch the boy before he can hit the ground.

Cenric opened his eyes when he felt something break his fall.Two wide eyes landed on him before he fidgeted anxiously. Unknowing to the boy his hand now had feathers on it.

"It's safer here for her then it is out there, with that girl hunting for her. At least here there's people, and someone else who will protect her." Jak murmurs, turning to look at him "You two will follow my suit in a few days, but for now she needs rest, and time."

"Right, your brother, was it?" Caspian murmurs, frowning at her second question "Vaguely."

Iniago hesitates, pursing his lips a moment before he takes a breath and lets it out. With a small bob of his head, he murmurs, "All right. Are you certain about this, though? What if something were to happen to you before you reach the tribes?"
Grunting, Forest catches the boy, though he's taken aback by how light he is. He looks him over as he sets him on his feet. "Are you alright?"

"Thank you." Jak murmurs, relaxing at Iniago's nod before returning it with one of his own "I'm sure. And if something happens, I'll manage. Just keep her safe. She's more important than I."

"It wasn't hard to guess." Caspian mutters, eyes rolling as he walks "You clearly aren't a mother, so the next option was a sibling. And a female was out, because you didn't say she or sister."

Even though the wolf wasn't fond of the idea, he nods anyhow with a deep breath. "Then do be safe, Frey. I'll insure no harm comes to Sherai, you've my word."

The man studies him a moment, looking over him, though the next moment he smiles and gently takes the boys wrist. "Maybe not as much as you had hoped for, but look." He meets his gaze, eyes bright. "Feathers. By the looks of it, you may be shifting in next to no time at all."

"Smartasses never miss a single detail do they?" she retorted before rolling her eyes mockingly. Crossing her arms she walked one step ahead of him purposely. He was right though, and she knew it. Never once did she think that she could ever be a mother to him.

"We were already going. " she points out as she leads the way. After a second she realizes and looks at him, a grin on her face. "It is this way correct?" she didn't think she was wrong, but she wasn't sure.
"Maybe not as much as you had hoped for, but look." "Feathers. By the looks of it, you may be shifting in next to no time at all."
Cenric looks over a moment, eyes slightly bewildered at what was shown. After a few seconds of intense staring, he looked up at the sky with small rays of hope shining in his eyes. "Do you think so?"

"How long did it take you?"
"My kind starts shifting by the time they're a year old," he explains. "But, it's uncontrollable. It took me three years before I had some control, and until I was seven before I mastered it. But you on your first try got somewhere further than I did."
