Roala gently touched his shoulder when he made a noise that sounded like he had a nightmare.
Cenric woke with a start and he shied away from her touch, eyes wide. Immediately he scooted back, knees coming up.
Her hand quickly jerked back but it stayed raised. Slowly she moved towards him. "Hey it was just a dream alright? Nothing to be scared of."
Cenric watched her, wariness in his eyes growing smaller. However it still remained. A pair of wide regretful eyes adverted themselves to the wall. He hadn't meant to shy away. Not when she had tried to help, but he had forgotten where he was.

"That depends on what you consider this."
She stiffened but didn't look at him, gaze trained on Iniago's fur. "What are you talking about."

Forest looked back at them as he felt the movement under his feet, studying them for a moment longer as he recognized their body language. He pulled out bowls and made everyone a bowl, setting it on the table. "Food is ready."

Food is ready."
Roala looked over at him before she moved back, hand dropping. "Lets go eat." Says lightly as she moved over to the table.
Cenric stared a few more moments before standing. Looking down he automatically sat at the tavle-it seems some habits would be harder to break.

"What are you talking about."
"The fact that you're residing here, with a male civilian, nonetheless. You have a tribe waiting for you, but you don't seem to be trying to return to them." Jakys murmurs, voice quiet as he looks at her "What about him makes you stay?"

"The fact that you're residing here, with a male civilian, nonetheless. You have a tribe waiting for you, but you don't seem to be trying to return to them."
She sat up and looked at him sharply. "You truly think that I wasn't trying to return to them? I was out getting supplies so I could make the trek back before I saw Iniago and ran into you." Iniago pressed his muzzle into her side gently, and she stiffened but feel quiet again as he spoke.
"What about him makes you stay?"
"Absolutely nothing," she murmured. "I wasn't planning on staying once I had what I needed." However, Ib felt something twist inside, something she wasn't familiar with. She angrily stood, letting her furs drop to the floor as she stalked to the fireplace. "Hungry?" She couldn't pin-point what made her angry. Herself and her brash thinking the night of the raid? Trying to be the leader that her father was, forgetting about herself? The blacksmith for helping her? Jakys for worrying and coming all this way? The girl with the black wolf who claimed to be her sibling? Iberia scoffed at herself. Maybe it was all of the above.

Still standing, Forest looked at the boy. "What would you like to drink? Do you like milk?"

Cenric nodded after a moment. "Thats fine." His head snapped around as she walked out, eyes widening. He leaned forward but otherwise didn't make a move to follow. No matter how much he wanted to.

"I think you were. But, you've been here almost a day, at least." he murmurs, voice lowering as he looks at her, green eyes dark "Just how hurt were you, Sherai?"
"Absolutely nothing. I wasn't planning on staying once I had what I needed. Hungry?"
"I can hear the resolve in your voice wavering." he states quietly, gaze following her as she gets up, shakes his head gently "I'm alright." he replies, gaze thoughtful as he looks over at his sword, ignoring the pain from yesterday

"I think you were. But, you've been here almost a day, at least. Just how hurt were you, Sherai?"
"I was more on the verge of freezing than I was injured," she replied lowly her back to him. "They only managed an arrow. But the cold was more of a threat than that."
"I can hear the resolve in your voice wavering. I'm alright."
Her hands froze in their work as she started to reheat the stew, her gaze trained on the fire, and after she collected herself, continued. Maybe her resolve was weak. But she was trying to at least put her people before her, even if it was proving to be more difficult. Had she had a brother, he would have the tribe, and she wouldn't feel so heavy, not that she wished ill on her people, or Jak's for that matter. She knew deep down that leading wasn't in her blood, and recognizing that train of thought brought Esper to mind and her aspirations. Her hands stopped again. What if the wildling was right?
Iniago watched his mistress closely, eyes knowing as he rose his head, letting out a quiet sound.

Forest only caught the last piece of her statement, watching as she stepped out, and seeing Cenric move, gave a gentle smile.
"Thats fine."
"She'll return, no need to worry," he said quietly, going and pouring some milk into a wooden mug and placed it by the boy then sat down. "She's only going to search for work."

"You almost froze to death?"
"I'm fine," she murmured, both to him and Iniago, who moved slowly and shifted, shaking away the fur and shook his head, eyes trained on Iberia.
"Finesk ta joul mal, Sherai," Iniago murmured. "Laniet?"
"Shra'nit palls pas," Iberia grumbled, poking at the fire to bring it up.
Iniago thought a moment. "Gras kein cet ma'eel, Esper?" She didn't respond as she continued her work. "You shouldn't let her words plague you."
"Ha'jiit mo, Iniago," she snapped quietly, and Iniago obeyed, falling quiet.

Even though he was silenced by Ib, Iniago couldn't remain so. He moved over closer to her. "Sherai, please," he started quietly, cautious. "If you keep closing up like your father, it'll only make matters worse."
"What have I told you about speaking of him," she snarled quietly.
"Forgive me," he dipped his head, "but as your Ma'heege, I must warn you about such things. Not speaking his mind brought his demise. I don't wish for that to happen to you as well."

"You've been alone."
"For lack of words, yes," Forest replied, eating a few bites of food. "The last company I had wasn't entirely friendly. He wanted to lash out, which I could see, considering he was hurt and protective of a boy. But he settled out a little. He was a relatively cold fella, and didn't talk too much unless it was to the boy. Which was okay, since I wouldn't have heard much or understood unless I was looking at him."
