Cenric looked at her before nodding at her first question, shaking his head no at the second. He just wanted to go somewhere else other than here.

Iniago gave a thin smile, though it was uneasy. "I can say that when caught in a situation she isn't familiar with, she'll turn into a cornered animal. Just be wary." He frowned a little as he realized how his words sounded. "Don't get me wrong, I adore Sherai and will give everything to keep her safe, but even a wolf like myself can't compare with a Kahji'it heir's spitfire."

Her jaw ticked sharply as she glared towards him, though she looked away. "Thank you for the warning ahead of time, blacksmith." Iberia's hand reached up and rubbed her cheek, the blood having stained her skin and her hair.

The wolf gave a small smile, training his eyes forward, though he frowned a little. "I'm sorry. I should've acted sooner and countered Onyx, then you wouldn't have gotten hurt.
"You're welcome. Just, take it easy. Alright?"
She snorted quietly, gaze guarded as she kept it forward, ears burning as she felt his gaze. How did she let herself end up in such a mess? Now that she thought about it, she should have listened to Vras and got away instead of catching the bounty hunter's attention and pulling them with her.

Iberia sat against the wall by the fireplace, leaning against Iniago who had shifted and laid next to her, his head resting on his paws. The wolf was wide awake as his mistress slept, ears swiveling around as he listened to the sounds outside the wall and listened for signs of life inside. He heard Caspian's footsteps, looking towards them, though his gaze snapped back to their resting point on the wall.

Forest worked on breakfast the next morning, the new supplies and clothing sitting in one of his makeshift chairs. Despite the cold he was barefooted, though with the fire going, he was content.

Hearing the door close, Ib stirred, eyes opening a little as they stared into space a moment, then her head snapped up and she looked around. Iniago gave a small puff of air and she looked at him, relaxing a little and settled back down, her furs draped over her shoulders and partially hiding her as she grew lost in thought. "What have I gotten myself into, Iniago," she whispered, and he turned and nuzzled her shoulder with his muzzle.

Seeing Roala move, he turned a little and looked towards them, giving a small smile as he saw Cenric stirring, then turned back to his task at hand. He wasn't sure what he was hoping to do, but he knew he couldn't have left either of them. Not up here in the dead of winter.
