Mountmend is the center of what is left of the council from High Garden, acting as capital of Pernrith. Daily, knights stream to and from the city, to fight back against the Legion, though the Legion grows stronger day by day. It's the last hope for life to continue and battle back against the dark clutches of Rheraven's men, and for it to fall means the beginning of the end for Pernrith.
