Eyes widening when the ball suddenly flies towards him, Jakys's jaw locks before he blurs, spinning on his feet and darting forward to the right, just barely managing to keep the other team from scoring a point

Esper laughs and starts after one of the others that have the ball, keeping pace and her footing as she tries to steal it back.

After a while, the two teams ended up tied and were playing for the tie breaking point. Their shouts were filled with excitement and glee, and they scrambled around each other. Though, as Esper tried to keep Jak's team from scoring the point, she doesn't quiet block in time as they score the point, though there aren't any disappointed sounds. Instead, everyone celebrated and congratulated each other.

Panting, Jays watches as his team scores the winning point and shoots Esper a small smirk before he shifts, falling back into the grass to rest for a moment

Esper trots over and stands over him, leaning over just a little, grinning. This had been the most free she's felt, feeling like she belongs somewhere than nowhere, and it's becoming evident on her face. "What, tired already?" she laughs, straightening as she brushes her hair from her face. Gray eyes bright she studies him, then plops next to him as the kids start up another game among themselves.
