After determining everything was okay, Zaire studies Av's face a long moment, her lips pursing a bit. "You'll wake, and we'll bring him back." She lightly touches her shoulder before she starts out of the tent.

Hearing Zaire faintly, Galen opens his eyes to look at her when the sound of footsteps reaches his ears, gaze chilled "How is she?"

"Fine," she answers. "Everything appears to be normal, at least for now." Sighing, she looks down. "She looks like she could wake at any moment."

"That's good then, it means she could wake soon." Galen murmurs, slowly relaxing before his eyes flick to her, hesitant as he reaches out, grasping her hand gently "Care to join me for dinner in my tent later?" he asks quietly

She looks at him, taken by surprise at the request. "Of course, commander," Zaire replies a moment later, blue eyes studying. She isn't sure that she had seen him relax in so long.

Stilling at her acceptance, he studies her for a moment then clears his throat, looking away "You are welcome to bring the boy with you, if you would feel more comfortable that way."

For a moment, she nearly mentions bringing him along. But because of his connection to her, she decides against it and shakes her head. "No, it's fine. I'm not bothered in any way."

Even if she is, she wasn't about to admit it. Call it her queen habits showing through. "That's all right. I don't want to move him all over the place." She pauses a moment, and looks towards her tent. "Though I do worry about him."

"He's a young boy who has lost his father and his birth mother, and very nearly the woman who accepted him as her own," she replies easily. "That's enough reason to worry about him."

Her gaze tuns knowing, as though she knew everything. "They won't be after us. No," she looks towards the woods, her lips tugging at the corners. "It won't be us they'll be interested in."
