"Maybe." she replied to him with a doubtful tone.
. "Do we really want to wake them?"
Aviva glanced over before sighing. "No but what if they're hungry?"
Bri stirred, her leg stretching out a moment- but not far enough to kick anything.

"Hm," he hummed, watching them. "Good point."
Feeling the movement Vane woke easily, brows drawing together a moment before he opened his eyes. He groaned quietly at the light, a hand coming up and rubbing the sleep from his eyes as his head raises.

Bri turned her head at the sudden noise a hand flying to her head. "Don't groan so loud." she complained her eyes squinting open.

"aaaaand moment ruined," he snickered, then looked at them. "I made breakfast."

Vane lifted his head with an alert gaze now, looking at Bri first as he murmured, "Sorry," before his attention turned to his brother and Aviva. "What?"
"Yeah, I made breakfast," Atlas repeated with a grin, grabbing two bowls and carrying it to them. "I tried to make it like you and Mom did, but I don't know if it turned out all right."

Bri pushed herself into a sitting position, coming up to rest shoulder to shoulder to him again. "How thoughtful. Thank you Atlas. "

He grinned with a shrug, watching as his brother took a bite, and Vane tenses up, his eyes trained on the bowl. His expression becomes guarded, but Atlas recognized the emotions in his gaze, though it takes him by surprise. "Brother?"
"It's...It's just like Mom's," he murmurs quietly, eyes moving to the space in front of him. "It's good."
Atlas's face brightens, and he smiles before turning back to the kitchen to retrieve his own bowl.

Aviva grinned as he returned ."See told you it was in there. " she smiled at him, still resting on her stool .
Bri watched Vane with a soft gaze, her hand squeezing his a moment before she tried a bite.

Atlas was beaming at the praise, happy to have gotten something right for the first time in a long time, and he watched as a small smile reached Vane's face, and it made him feel even better. He grabbed the other two bowls, handing one to Aviva. "Here."
Vane turned his head and looked at Bri's hand, sighing as he relaxed a little. He was thoroughly surprised his brother managed to copy it so well, and as his eyes found Atlas, he saw that he resembled their mother more than Vane had realized.

"Thanks!" Aviva beamed at him before taking a deep breath. "It smells so good. " taking a bite her face lit up. "It even tastes amazing. "
Brianna pulled her hair back up into its stationary position before scooping up another spoonful. Leaning down she blew on it a moment before eating it slowly. "He did well."

"Thanks," he grinned, taking a seat by her. Then, he added in a low whisper, "And I almost made my brother cry! In a good way!"
"He did well."
"He ceases to amaze me," vane said quietly, taking another bite as he stared at his bowl. "I didn't think he paid any attention."

I didn't think he paid any attention."
"Well I don't know if he did or not. But you've taught him well regardless. Your mother must have been an excellent cook for both her boys to recreate this dish."

"There some crates we can use from the store just a few doors down. I can carry them without an issue, and at the shop, storing them won't be a problem either."
