A small frown tugs at the corner of her lips as she eyes him carefully before her cheeks grow a little rosy, and she looks forward again, beads clicking in her hair at the movement. "you're delirious."

"Possibly." Jak murmurs, sighing as he warms up, starting to drift off despite his attempts "But I'm half sane, as well."

She stays quiet a moment, and hearing the sigh she says, "You can sleep now. I believe the danger has passed."

Esper lays against Onyx on the opposite side from Jak, huddled under his tail. She shifts in her sleep and rolls over, starting awake when she thinks she hears something outside and sits up quickly, turning to listen. |

Hearing something, Jakys wakes with a small groan, eyes flicking to Esper slowly, still half asleep "What is it?"

"What is it?"
She remains silent for a long moment, then relaxes with a sigh. "It's nothing. I imagined it." Her eyes move to him, nearly forgetting that his was there, and quietly she ask, "How do you feel?"

"I feel much better, thank you." Jakys murmurs, breath hissing out slowly as he pushes himself to sit up, green eyes studying her "Are you sure you're alright?"

Onyx shifted his weight as Jak sits up, and Esper stands and walks over to the fire, feeding it again. "I'm fine."

"I wouldn't trust your balance to well if I were you, princeling," she says as she hears him behind her. "The knock to the head you took will make you a little unsteady for a while."

"Oh, I don't." Jakys murmurs, sighing as he leans over to get her cloak, slipping it around her shoulders before she can object "But I have to leave, I'm afraid."

She starts as her cloak is placed on her shoulders and she looks up at him, frowning. "Leave?"

Pausing, Jak studies her then sighs, hands falling from her shoulders "I was on my way back to the tribe, before I got attacked and ran into you."

Hesitating, she turns and looks at the fire. "The Kaji-it are south at the ruins. I found their trail on my way here."
