Iniago watched, leaning and scratching his ear before slaying down, his head on his paws and ears swiveling about.

Iniago raised his head, looking at Jakys, then looking towards the woods as a howl echoed in the distance, tail wagging.

Iniago seemed excited about the howl as he took, ribs expanding as his muzzle rose, about to return the howl when others filled the air and he froze, head snapping straight and tail falling. He listened, head lowering as a growl rose in his throat, muzzle curling back to reveal teeth.
Iberia ate with her people, relaxed as her eyes flicked towards what was left of Jakys's company, having taken a liking to them. In the distance, a wolf howled, catching her attention as her spoon lowered to the bowl as she listened. As another howl filled the air, then another, Iberia stood quickly and gave orders in their native tongue, looking at Vras, Odin and Cyprian. "Od, gather the warriors. Cyprian, get the people--"
Her head whipped around as she heard shouts and voices towards the head of the camp, swearing. "Get the people out of camp, use the horses. Vras, with me. Go!" The villagers gathered up their children, leaving their bowls near their seats and the camp erupted into a frenzy. Iberia grabbed her bow and arrows, placing the quiver at her waist as she ran towards the commotion.

Reaching the bank, he stands, exhaling slowly as he pulls on his trousers and shorts before stilling at the sound of wolves, raises his head at Iniago's growl "What is it?" he murmurs, eyes flicking to the sword off to the left, about five feet from him

"What is it?"
Iniago continued to growl, fur bristling and stand lowering to spring as he heard a voice.
"Is the the lad you were talkin' about?" a man asked, stepping through the brush with five others, a grin on his face and sword drawn. "This the one yer payin' us for?"
Iberia and Vras run to the front of the village, spotting the bandits that began to swarm them, barking orders again to the nearby warriors. She notched an arrow and shot several down, raising her bow again as she recognized one of the men, and her jaw ticked.
"Look at what we have," he grinned, having a proper accent despite his men. "The information was right. The little princess had fled north with her people."
"You," she growled as her feral side began to show, releasing the arrow and notching another, though the man dodged with ease.

Frowning, Jakys makes a move to get his sword before stiffening when a boot steps on the hilt before he can, stills when bandits emerge from the trees
"Is the the lad you were talkin' about? This the one yer payin' us for?"
"It is. Prince Jakys Frey." Grelm mutters, sneer on his face as he steps on the sword "I'll pay you as soon as you get the job done."
"I should have known it was you. Ever since that money went missing, you've been awfully interested in my plans."
"That money should have been mine. My family has been cleaning your boots for two generations. And what do we get for it? The role of adviser." he spats, angry "Get him."

"It is. Prince Jakys Freyo. I'll pay you as soon as you get the job done."
"I should have known it was you. Ever since that money went missing, you've been awfully interested in my plans."
"That money should have been mine. My family has been cleaning your boots for two generations. And what do we get for it? The role of adviser. Get him."
The bandits started forward, and it was like a switch for Iniago. He barked sharply, turning from tame to feral in a heartbeat, leaping at one and tearing out their throat, charging for Grelm as though he knew what the man was doing. A bandit swung and struck the wolf's side, forcing a yelp from him, but it shifted to a growl as he immediately retaliated with a lung. The first bandit cursed and went straight for Jakys, sword swinging towards him in a long arch.
Iniago tore another down, charging again towards the leader of the group with a sharp bark, only to be batted away by a hammer of another. He rolled towards the water's edge, struggling back up to his feet as his muscles quivered.
Iberia growled and stepped back, tossing the bow aside and drawing her sword.
"Now now, you know against me that doesn't--"
Vras charged and tackled the man to the ground with a grunt, scrambling to his feet and away as the man yelled, enraged. He met her gaze. "Krahl, Sherai."
"No, I will not--"
A woman followed after him, attacking another. "Krahl, Sherai!"
Iberia whirled and felled another while Vras dodged an attack from the bandit. "Sherai, please. It's you they want. Go!"
"But the people," she growled, twisting in time to stop another. "Jakys,"
"Will survive," Vras snapped, shoving the man back. "Krahl!"
Iberia stared, teeth bared as she weighed her options, though a moment later she gained an idea. "Over here, bloody bastards! Come and get me!" She sheathed her sword and ran into the woods, watching over her shoulder as the man struck back against Vras, whirling towards her.
"Sherai, you fool!" Vras groaned as he blocked the attack.
"Don't let her go!"
Her tips twitched as the bandits turned attention from the people to her, and in a heartbeat she started through the woods, the bandit lashing out a Vras again before following his men.

"More than you deserved, by any means." Jakys growls back, blue eyes flashing as he charges, tackling Grelm to the ground. Before he can recover, Jakys reaches out and grabs his sword, both hands grasping the hilt as he goes to drive it into his adviser's throat, oblivious to the battle around him until he hears something new. Head snapping up at the sound of footsteps, he grits his teeth and watches in disbelief as Iniago takes him out then gets hit. Anger crossing his gaze when the bandit with a hammer steps towards the wolf while he's down, Jak moves in a blur, blade finding it's way through the man's stomach from behind, sharp gaze finding their leader "I suggest if you want to live, you'll run. You have ten seconds until I let Iniago here hunt you." he states, voice cold as he yanks his blade free, unmoving as the man falls

"More than you deserved, by any means. I suggest if you want to live, you'll run. You have ten seconds until I let Iniago here hunt you."
The man stared, slack jawed and wide eyed as he watched the wolf, then Jakys, before it closed and he stepped back. "That fine, lad. He's dead, so there's no money in it for me," he murmured, watching the wolf warily, a smirk reaching his lips, "though I doubt a wounded dog could--" Iniago scrambled to his feet and barked sharply, eyes flashing bright gold with bared teeth, fur bristling, and like that the bandit's smirk vanished. "I'm leavin', I'm goin'." He held his hands up in surrender. "Though no promises that your friend will survive." With the he ran off, disappearing into the underbrush.
Iniago's growl faded and he sniffed the air, barking sharply and taking off towards the village.
Iberia ran through the underbrush, swift as a deer as she lept over fallen logs and danced around trees. Her footsteps were light compared to the thunder behind her, and she narrowly danced aside as an arrow whizzed by her head. Dogs barking filled her ears, a whinny echoing as Prata, bareback and unbridled, darted from the side. Without hesitation Iberia reached and jumped, swinging onto her back without the mare stopped, galloping on.
Vras and several other warriors mounted and took charge after Iberia and the man, though they didn't get far as a fire stretched between them and their prey, the horses rearing up as the bandits who lit it cackled. With a curse, the elder drove the others back to the village, the desperation and need to get the others away becoming a top priority, though Vras's gazed was torn and uncertain as he looked over his shoulder. "Krahl, Sherai. Krahl et Rin," he prayed, following the men back.

"My friend?" Jakys's face twists into a frown before it curses as it hits him "Iberia." Looking around, he curses when he sees no sign of Grelm, gets redressed quickly, gaze flicking to Iniago when he takes off without him. Finishing not three seconds later, his grip on his sword tightens as he slides it into his sheath then takes off back towards the northern village

Iniago ran, skittering to a stop at the village as his head snapped around as everyone hurried to gather supplies and the people, the smell of smoke heavy. He wove through the people, barking for his master, though Vras rode forward and dismounted, seeing Iniago. "Iniago, where's the boy?"
Vras looked up as Jak plowed through the underbrush, gaze worried as he took a breath. "Thank the gods you're safe."
Iberia and Prata fled, though the ride became rough as the gentle slopes turned into sharp hills, and Prata struggled to keep her footing. The mare jumped an incline as the bandits spread out, and Iberia swore and urged her mare on. However, as the bandits shouted and fired, another came out from the bushes and startled the horse, sending her rearing and Iberia falling. She landed with a sharp gasp, struggling for air as it's knocked from her lungs, Prata running on.
"P-Prata!" She croaked, voice hardly a whisper as she wheezed, scrambling to her feet.
"Even your horse abandoned you," the man sneered, drawing closer. "Give it up. You can't get away."
Iberia whirled, gaze coated with malice as she growled, drawing her sword. She felled two men, though not without struggle, and turned, jumped down another drop off and rolled into a run. They took chase again, arrows flying, one grazing her shoulder, though she didn't stop. She continued south, branches catching her hair and her tunic, and she ran towards the rushing water. Reaching the river's edge, she tried to catch her breath, but as the men drew closer, she made a split second decision and ran along the bank.
"Shoot her down! Don't let her reach the edge!" the man bellowed, and another set of arrows flew as she took a leap of faith into the rapids.
"Damn it!" He skid at the bank, looking into the water, though no sign of her rose. "Bloody hell, you fools! Back towards camp!!" The bandits all turned and ran back up the hills, and the man glared downstream. "Just you wait, girl," he grumbled. "You'll be brought in."

"Iniago, where's the boy?"
Weaving through the camp when he reaches it, Jakys catches up to Iniago, breathing hard, looks at the man "Here."
"Thank the gods you're safe."
"Same goes to you. Where is the princess?" he asks, voice coming out in a rush

"Same goes to you. Where is the princess?"
Iniago eyed Vras as he caught his breath, letting it out with a purse of his lips. "Gone, sir," he murmured. "Sherai lured the bandits away, and we took pursuit, but the bastards lit the woods afire. We have to get everyone out and south, keeping to the west. The bandits chased her east, but we can't follow until we can get everyone to safety," he murmured, looking away. "Once the people are safe, we'll gather and send out a search party to find her."
Iniago growled lowly, lips curling towards Vras, and the man looked at the wolf. "I'm sorry, Iniago. We did what we could."
