A single pair of footsteps could be heard from near the small shed that she was in. Upon hearing the door open, Roala stirred awake with a small groan. Instead of sitting up like normal- she rolled over, fingers clutching the thin blanket closer to her desperately. She shivered involuntarily underneath it as the door was opened- merely wearing her dress. Peeling her eyes open she peered up at the boy standing in the doorway, sporting a short sleeve button down. "I don't see how you're used to the cold, I'm freezing. " she muttered.
The boy lingered there a moment longer before he moved to stand inside, finally shutting the door behind him. No apology was offered, nor a word uttered. Darkness instantly consumed them and chirping could be heard. He caught a small curse under her breath and moments later a click resounded through the small building, just before it was flooded with a dim light. A set of blue eyes landed on the girl now sitting before him. "Geez lighten up already. Haven't I already proven that I have no ill intention against you?" He grunted in response before kneeling by her. "How is it?" the question hung in the air as he studied the ankle.

"Come on. I'm not going to hurt you."
Iberia straightened a little as he took her arm, hissing quietly through clenched teeth as her wounds are jarred. As the man moved, she tried to move with him, stiffening as they walked through the door.
"Hob, I'm going home now."
"A'ight, see you tomorrow."
She followed him, remaining silent and letting out a breath of relief as they stepped outside, her face contorting in pain and partial frustration.

"Can you make it?" Caspian murmurs, eyes straight ahead as he walks "My house is mere minutes away, but it is down a hill."

"Can you make it? My house is mere minutes away, but it is down a hill."
She kept up with a slight limp as she fought for feeling in one leg, grumbling, voice breaking, "I'll manage."

"I'll manage."
Nodding curtly, Caspian keeps on walking, not stopping till he gets to a small but well kept home, heads towards the door, slipping a key out of his jacket pocket with a small grunt, trying not to drop her

"How is it?"
Roala looked at him before she raised her ankle and turned it to the side. A small bruise could be seen, a light purple decorating her skin. "It barely hurts. Ill live." It was basically just a stratch compared to what wounds she had received. "What about your arm?" She asked glancing at him. She still felt bad that he got hurt because of her.
Cenric nodded after a second. His eyes drifted to his arm and he stretched it out, rotating it. There wasn't even a blemish that showed the bites he had received. He remembered the pain that had come with it, as well as finding her. A few days ago he had gone out to get wood far from the border. He had always heard the howls but that time they had been louder. Before he knew what happened he saw her running a few hundred yards away, only to trip. Instinctively he had gone to help.

Iberia placed her hand on the wall to steady herself as he dug for the key, the shivering growing worse. Teeth chattering, she growled lowly, "This cold....It'd be better if I had my furs." Her gaze was slightly distant as she glared at the wall.

"This cold....It'd be better if I had my furs."
"We'll be inside in a moment, no more than that." Caspian murmurs, fiddling with the key until he hears a click, pushes on the door, wood swinging inwards on it's hinges, helps her inside. Blinking in the dark, he releases her a moment, leaning her against the wall as he finds a candle and lights it down the hall "Let me help you to the kitchen."

"We'll be inside in a moment, no more than that."
"That moment may be the death of me," she murmured, heading leaning against the wall, straightening as he got the door opened and they stepped inside.
"Let me help you to the kitchen."
Iberia tried to hold her own as she stood against the wall. However, her knees gave and she collapsed to the floor with a thump and a gasp, head rolling back against the wall. After the swimming and the running in the cold, her legs couldn't keep her up. She fought to keep her eyes open and clear. "Fire," she croaked, shivering. Her hand gripped her shoulder, and by now she was a messed of frost, mud, sweat and blood. She had meant to say she needed the fire, but her teeth kept chattering it was all she could do to get a word out before she clenched them together.

"Fire,"
Studying the state she's in, Cas pauses before he goes over and lifts her bridal style, carries her to the sofa in front of the fire, sits her down gently "Stay right here." he murmurs before jogging upstairs. Coming back down a few minutes later, he strains as he carries a wooden tub, sits it down in front of the fire, mixing the water that's already heating above it in a pan. Once he feels it's hot enough but not scalding, he looks at Iberia, gaze calm "You need to strip, while I make the bath."

Roala watched him as he spaced out after the question. A large frown etched its way into her features as she took in the state of the wounds on his forearm- rather the lack thereof. It was almost as if it didn't ever happen. However her ankle told her otherwise. After her ankle twisted she had fallen, gravity pulling her to the earth just as a wolf had lunged at her. Out of nowhere he had appeared, no rather swooped in with his arm raised. That was the last thing that she witnessed before she passed out. A few things were bothering her though. Just before she had been taken by darkness, she could have sworn that she saw a wing instead of an arm. And just how had she gotten here. Wanting some answers she reached forward and poked him smack dab in the middle of his forehead. "Hey you're doing it again."
Cenric pondered why he had helped her, it wasn't the first time the wolves had made someone their prey. Small thoughts flickered in his mind as he recalled how she had appeared while running for her life. "Hey you're doing it again." Shaking his head to come back to earth, he looked at her with a blank stare. It wasn't his fault he did that a lot, there was just a lot he thought about. After a moment he spoke a small apology before standing. He really should be getting to work.

A small whine escaped as she was lifted, muscles coiling as she curled just a little, his body heat jolting her from her haze. As she was sat down, she propped herself up on an arm, savory the most welcomed heat.
"Stay right here."
"It's not like I'm going anywhere," Iberia whispered, eyes closing momentarily until she heard the heavy footfall and something more. They snapped open and she looked at the man as he brought down a tube, and her brow furrowed.
"You need to strip, while I make the bath."
A snort escaped her as she stared, incredulous. She sat up straighter as she fought the shivers. "There is no way," she murmured half to herself, though her eyes fell on the steam of the tub, her head shaking a moment later. "No."

"There is no way. No."
"It really wasn't a question. You're filthy, hurt, and freezing." he murmurs, crossing his arms over his chest "Either you strip and get in the tub, or I'll dump you in it and wash you myself."

Roala looked at him before sighing. "You really should learn to smile kid. It's not good for you to stay emotionless all the time. And i'm sure your old man wouldn't mind if you missed a day of work. She looked at him, eyes becoming clouded with worry as he paused. That sent off red flags in her head, and she didn't like it. Exhaling she stared at the wall, or what part she could make out. "I plan on going out awhile. Do you want anything.?"
Cenric stilled at her statement, eyes widening slightly. "We have to go to the market today. I have to help carry." He looked at her before walking to the door. I plan on going out awhile. Do you want anything.?" Slowly he cocked his head before giving a small shake. He had learned really quick that it was better to never want anything that he wasn't going to get. "Feed them." his eyes flick to the few chickens that had survived. Without another syllable, he walked out.

"It really wasn't a question. You're filthy, hurt, and freezing. Either you strip and get in the tub, or I'll dump you in it and wash you myself."
Iberia's nose curled into a snarl, though through gritted teeth, she sat up completely, removing her sword and dagger from her hip, laying them near the fire. Her hands shook, fingers half-numb as she jerked off her boots, hissing and pausing to grip her shoulder and curled slightly, forehead on her knees. She didn't move for several minutes, though when she did, she bit the inside of her cheek to keep from whimpering as she pulled off her leather vest and tunic, struggling with the leather cuffs on her sleeves.
Her hands stopped at the undershirt and her trousers, jaw working as she fought with her own pride and dignity, the only time she had ever felt like a female outright. Growling and swallowing it all, she practically ripped both off and pulled herself up, half stepping half falling into the tub, hissing as the water stung her skin and wounds, cuts from brambles and branches across her arms and face, a cut on an arm and a gash on the back of her shoulder where arrows had struck.
Trying to gather as much heat as she could, she curled up tightly, knees drawn to her chest and her arms wrapping around them, though now the movements were ginger and hesitant as the full force of the damage began to set in.
